The Attitude Of Prayer- Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Meditation/Action
Instead of worry and anxiety, the Lord wants to hear us pray. Because He is willing and ready to answer, He wants His children to call upon Him. He is a loving God that delights in taking care of His beloved.
The world is full of challenges. So long as we are still on earth, we will face challenges and oppositions. Sometimes we pass through trials of faith. The enemy throws fiery darts on our ways. Things will only be perfect when we get to Heaven.
Our attitude in trying situations is important. It should be that of prayer and faith. Instead of resorting to worry, we should resort to prayer and believing. By prayer and supplication, let us present our requests unto God. When the ungodly is overwhelmed by life problems, the Christian should be calm, trusting in the Lord. In the face of difficulties, we are positioned in our God to experience peace that passes all understanding.
We should never let unpleasant circumstances bother us. Life challenges shouldn’t get to us. Instead, they should be taken to the Lord in prayer of faith. Let us lay everything at the feet of the Lord and leave them there. The Lord that asked us to pray will answer the prayers we make unto Him. He said we should ask and we will receive. That’s a promise of God. Not one of His promises has ever failed. None will ever fail.
