Word Of The Week: Cheer Up- John 16:33
Be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Meditation/Action
The world we live in is plagued with troubles. Both the Christian and the non-Christian live in the same world. The difference is that the Christian has God; and that's a great difference.
Jesus said we should cheer up in a troubled world because He has overcome the troubles of the world for us. Whatever trouble it is, He says cheer up. When He went to the cross, He went to win the victory on our behalf. He overcame for us. It's not something He will do in the future, but something He has already done. Our victory was secured more than 2,000 years ago when He was nailed to the cross. So you've won. You won more than 2,000 years ago.
Don't let circumstances or life troubles weigh you down. Rather cheer up. Rise up in faith and rejoice in advance. Claim the victory Jesus won for you and you'll see it manifest. You'll see yourself overcoming whatever problem or challenge it is.
When Jesus said cheer up, it means everything has been taken care of. It means there's no need to worry because He's got it all covered. That He did on the cross. So cheer up. Cheer up in faith and see God's power at work in your life and circumstances. Cheer up!
