Word Of The Week: Get Your Praise On- Acts 16:25-26
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Acts 16:25-26
Meditation/Action
Get your praise on. Start praising God. That’s what the Lord wants. Don’t look at the circumstances. Ignore the doctor’s report. Forget the bills you’re yet to pay. Don’t consider how great the battle before you is. Forget the enormity of the problem. The crises may be bigger than you. Whatever it is doesn’t really matter. What matters is what God is asking you to do; raise your hands and begin to worship. Raise your hands and begin to praise. That’s all He is asking. Begin to praise God because victory is here.
There’s much power in praise and worship. When God tells you to praise Him, it means He is about to do something. He did it with the children of Israel. He did it with Paul and Silas. When He asks you to begin to praise Him, It means whatever problem it is, is being taken care of. It means the answers have been released. It means the mountains are moving already. It’s a sign that your prayers are being answered unto His glory. So obey God and praise Him. Focus on Him and not on the problems anymore, because they’re actually gone.
Position yourself for your breakthrough. Position yourself for the answers and blessings you’ve been seeking from God. You do that through praise and worship. Let your praise rise up to God. Let Him smell the scent of your praise. By your praise and worship, He will usher you into your blessings and breakthrough. So praise on and praise into your miracle. Rise and get your praise on. Heaven is waiting for the sweet scent of the savour of your praise. It’s time to praise.
