Word Of The Week: God’s Promises- 2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 2 Corinthians 1:20
Meditation/Action
The Scripture is filled with promises. For every need, there are many promises of God concerning it. God didn’t leave us without His promises. He knew there would be times that His children would need them, and not just sometimes, but at all times. We must rely on God’s promises both in the good times and in the bad times.
God is as true as His promises. His promises don’t fail because God doesn’t fail. The Scripture describes them as yes and amen. God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). His Word is His bond. If He said it, He will do it.
In all situations and at all times, lean on God’s promises. Whatever need or situation you’re facing, trust God’s promises because He keeps them. Testimonies attest to this. Search the Scripture concerning your needs and believe God’s promises on them. Times of trouble and need are not times of fretting and frustration. They are times to believe God for what He said He would do. When we believe, we are never disappointed.
