Word Of The Week: Lift Up Your Eyes- Psalm 121:1-2
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.- Psalm 121:1-2
Meditation/Action
Our help comes from above, which is God. It doesn’t come from our possessions or status. It doesn’t come from our smartness or strength. It doesn’t come from the people we know or the connections we have. Neither does it come from our loved ones we trust so much. Our help is only in God.
The Scripture says that those that trust in chariots and horses are disappointed. Those that trust in riches and in the flesh fail. When you look up to something else or someone else other than God, your anticipated help is delusional. Every other ground is sinking sand, except God. He is the Almighty God, the creator of the whole universe. All power belongs to Him. Everything is in His hand. He can never fail you. In Him is your help. His help and blessings don’t bring sorrow with them.
Lift up your eyes unto God. Place your gaze on Him. Focus on Him. He is your Father and will send you help in time of need. Don’t trust or lean on any other except Him. Look up to Him for all your needs. He is always ready to keep His duties as your Father. He will take care of you. He has always. Lift up your eyes and look to your Father for help.
