Word of The Week: Made Whole
Jesus asked a sick man, "Wilt thou be made whole?" John 5:6. He knew the man needed His touch, yet His asked. The same question still resonates from Him to us today. "Would you be made whole?" "I want to save and give you life." "I want to deliver and set you free." "I want to heal and bless you." "Would you be made whole?"
Receiving God's touch depends on our response to His offer. Our response decides the direction of our life. God is offering to bless us but doesn't force His will or way upon us. He has the power to do so, yet chose to leave the choice to us. It's His desire and will that we be made whole by Him. Still it is our choice.
By believing in Jesus and accepting Him we are made whole. One in Christ is a whole new man. Letting Him into your life is giving Him the control of it. That makes Him responsible for everything concerning you, because you've committed everything to Him. And whatever is committed to Him, He is able to keep.
Jesus makes the difference. No one and nothing can do what only He can do. He saves. He heals. He sets free. He delivers. He gives life. He blesses. In Him is everything we need. In Him we are made whole. He is still asking this day, "Would you be made whole?"
