Word Of The Week: Newness Of Life- 2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
Meditation/Action
If you have found Jesus, the evidence is a newness of life. Your life would be different from what it used to be. Your whole lifestyle would change because you’ve found a better way of living. The Scripture says you’re a new creature. You have been recreated in Jesus. The old, undesirable and sinful way of life has passed away. You are now living and walking in the righteousness of God, which is evident, not just to you but to all that see you.
There is a clear difference between a life in God and a life without God. It is the newness of life. This newness of life is called the righteousness of God which is of grace. It is the grace of God that enables us to live in this new way. Have you found Jesus? Have you surrendered to Him? If you have, does your life show that you have? Ask for the grace of God. It will enable you to live out and enjoy the new life in Christ.
In case you have not surrendered to Jesus, no time is better than now. Bow your head wherever you are and make the greatest decision of your life. Pledge and totally give your life to God through His Son Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit will guide you into the new life. You’ll be blessed now and in eternity.
