Word Of The Week: Salvation For The Lost- Matthew 18:11
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. Matthew 18:11
Meditation/Action
Jesus came to save us from sin and from the punishment for sin. He came for the lost. Without Him, we are all lost in sin. He gave His life for the whole world. To be saved, we must acknowledge our sins, believe and accept what He did on the cross for us. Our redemption was by His precious blood. Through Him, the world is reconciled to God the Father. The price of this reconciliation was His blood.
Jesus came to save us, not to judge us. He came to deliver us from the judgement to come if we would receive Him. He came to set us free from our archenemy, the devil. Jesus is the only Saviour of man, the only way, the only truth and the only one who gives life. He is the only one that can save. He came to earth on purpose, and that purpose was to save us from sin and satan. He achieved His purpose of being here through His death and resurrection.
Take the bold step of life by receiving Jesus if you have not yet done so. Confess your sins to Him. Repent of them and forsake them. Then follow the Lord in His righteousness. His grace will keep and strenghten you in His path of righteousness. He will watch over you to preserve you in a sinful world.
Jesus died for you. He shed His blood for you. Don’t let His death be in vain in your life. Avoid death, eternal punishment and separation from God by receiving Him into your life. Start your journey with your Lord and Saviour. Follow Him sincerely from your heart. His grace, love and mercy will keep you now and in eternity.
