Word Of The Week: Thankful- Colossians 3:15
… be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15
Meditation/Action
We have few hours into the new year. Looking back, we have so much to be thankful for. The Lord has been faithful and good to us. He deserves our thanksgiving. He’s watched over us from the beginning of the year to this ending. His banner of love has covered and shielded us from harm all through the year. We had victories in the battles that came our ways because God is by our side. He gave us life, put food on our table, sheltered and clothed us, which we do not take for granted. Our prayers were answered. In the midst of everything, God stood with us this year. It’s been a great year because our God is a great God.
If God hasn’t been good to us we wouldn’t be standing here. Let’s be thankful to Him. You wouldn’t like it if you took care of someone from the beginning of the year to the ending, and there’s no appreciation for it. Likewise God. So rise and praise Him. Rise and thank God for His grace, mercy and faithfulness upon us this year, and for all He did for us. Use the few hours remaining this year to lift the name of the Lord in thanksgiving. Praise Him. Praise your way into the new year and be sure of greater blessings in the new year.
