Word Of The Week: The Promise Of Glory- John 14:2-3
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:2-3
Meditation/Action
The culmination of our faith is Heaven. It is our eternal reward and without it, the believer’s faith would have been incomplete. Jesus has gone ahead to prepare Heaven for us, and when the time is set, He will come and get us. Then we will be with Him where He is. That’s His promise. There’s nothing more beautiful than it.
Heaven is beautiful. The streets are made of gold and much more than that. In Heaven, all the earthly pains wouldn’t be there. There will be no evil, no sickness, no death, no lack and no sorrow. The Lord will dry all our tears. We will be free from every trouble and every trial. It will only be us in the presence of the Lord. We will enjoy and know the true meaning of living and how beautiful it is to be with the Lord. We will experience the glory and grandeur of the Lord. Words may not be able to express what it will be like in Heaven. The bliss will be forever. It will never end.
Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people. As the Lord prepares Heaven for us, let’s prepare to live there. Let’s get ready for the mansion the Lord has gone to prepare for us. Rise up every morning being conscious of Heaven and live like one that will soon go there. Live a life worthy of it. If you have not received and surrendered to Jesus Christ, do so now. That’s the first step in getting ready for the mansion above. Then live daily with the hope of Heaven afresh in you.
