Word Of The Week: What Are You Thinking? Matthew 6:25
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life. Matthew 6:25
Meditation/Action
What are you thinking? Jesus said we should take no thought about life. He forbids us from thinking because it’s His job to take care of us. Whatever the weight of the problem, God says not to think. When we think, we push God away and carry upon ourselves situations and problems we can’t handle. Thinking means you are the one running your life, not God. And we are not smart enough to run our lives.
No one has solved a problem through worry. No one has taken care of any situation through thinking and anxiety. So why worry? Why stress yourself over issues and problems you have no control over when the one that controls the universe and life itself tells you to hands off so He can come in. He can’t come in to work on your behalf when you are still trying to do His job.
Let go and let God. Let go and see God’s great and miraculous power in your life. He will move in ways you never expected. Anxiety, worry and panic are hindrances to God's move. Relax and let God be God. He wants you to live each day knowing He carried the weight of the world on His shoulders, so your tiny problems won’t stand His touch.
